The EDGE

It all began with an idea. Father and son architect duo, Bill and Dan Yudchitz, aimed to create a compact, modular home with multifunctional furniture that encouraged minimal environmental impact.

The EDGE, (Experimental Dwelling for a Greener Environment), is a 325-square-foot retreat that overlooks Lake Superior’s Chequamegon Bay. The cabin is on a hillside across from Pike’s Bay Marina and the popular Brownstone Trail.

Before reaching it’s forever home, The EDGE was showcased at the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair, where close to 10,000 people were able to explore it’s design concept of minimal and sustainable living.

Explore the wonders of Bayfield, Wisconsin, from the comfort of this multi-award winning tiny house. The EDGE has been featured by Dwell Magazine, several Youtube tiny house channels (Kirsten Dirksen), as well as the recipient of the National AIA Award. It can be rented out weekly on Airbnb.
